Japanese born . Australia based calligrapher and artist Hitomi Fukaya asked to create a portrait that shows the intricacies and joy of traditional Japanese calligraphy: Shodo.

To accompany an art project in which she combined thousands of artworks made by her students into a giant piece, this film would show her vision on the craft and the joy of sharing it with other cultures.
